What We Do
Prevent
As professionals within our individual institutions, and as members of this coalition, we strive for the prevention of interpersonal violence. We accomplish this by bringing awareness to our students through events, internship opportunities, and interdepartmental collaborations.
Advocate
Each of our institutions advocate in different ways for our students. Some of our offices have clinicians who accompany students through any and all parts of the reporting process, while others advocate for change on the policy level through committee participation, research, and grants.
Educate
One thing we all share in common is our desire to better the field of violence prevention. Collectively, we regularly consume media, books, and articles related to our work. We then translate this information into tangible events, handouts, and trainings that we can then promote to our students.
